These audio-works are all primarily conceptual in nature, beginning with Post Modem Discourse, which was originally conceived in 2006 as a Conceptual Art audio-book version of my M.F.A. thesis. The works are my meditation on the topics of idol worship, representation, and the chasm between information and knowledge. Musically, most of the pieces are straight-ahead audio collage. In the spirit of Romare Bearden, these audio-works are an appropriation and re-contextualization of samples, conversational audio, and images as metaphors.
